Alterations to a Listed Building

The brief was to produce a design for shed to house specific forestry equipment that could be constructed by a guided volunteer team from locally grown timber, converted on site.

The Structural Design was to reflect the species to hand: Sycamore, Scots Pine, Larch & Alder. With length and stock restrictions.

Already sawn on site with a portable saw table into nominal sizes of 6" x 3", 6" x 2" & 6" x 1", all with the nominal dimensional variations expected from the method of conversion.

The detail drawing set allows for pre-fabrication of frames for erection by log handling equipment already on site.
