CLUB SAILING
Club Racing:
Club racing takes place on Sundays throughout the year. The full programme is published annually and reminders or updates are shared through the club's communication channels. If you are unsure whether you are receiving updates, any committee member can help you get get connected.
Start time is usually 1300hrs [this may vary on some Trophy Days].
There are usually three races during the Summer days and two during the winter days.
The water may be closed on 'Open Days'.
Saturday Club:
This is training focussed and includes 7's to 70's, if we can find a buoyancy aid to fit you, you can sail.
The club has Toppers, topaz's??? Wayfarers to get you on the water, supported by a safety boat and experienced members.
This scheme is underpinned by shore based theory training and will lead to RYA Stage Certification for juniors and lead in experience for the grown ups.
There is a modest charge for each attendant per day.
Folks are encouraged to attend for the full season and get that certificate.
