About Scammonden Water Sailing Club
Scammonden Water Sailing Club [SWSC] is a volunteer run, family friendly club dedicated to making sailing accessible, enjoyable and affordable for our community. We welcome sailors of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, whether completely new to the sport or returning after a time away. Set in a beautiful upland reservoir, the club offers a relaxed atmosphere, an active social scene and a strong focus on developing confidence on the water. Our members regularly take their sailing further afield too, travelling to events and regattas across the UK. We offer a flexible range of membership categories to suit individuals, families and juniors. Whether you're interested in leisure sailing, structured training, power-boating or racing, there's an option for everyone. We're particularly proud of our growing youth section and our commitment to encouraging more women and families into sailing.
